At Carstens, we know that some things are better left unchanged. That includes our classic duck boat design. The Canvasback is modeled after the classic wood-ribbed duck boats our grandfathers used. Built for a full day of hunting, the Canvasback has plenty of room and exceptional stability in open water. You and your hunting partner will be happy that we held with tradition.
This boat was designed to use an outboard, go-devil ,mudbuddy or beavertail motor up to 6.5 horse. It measures 14'4" long with a 45" beam. There's a 16" deep and the cockpit is 24" x 96" (500lb weight capacity). This is a slick boat for those shallow marshes! It's low enough to hide anywhere yet boat enough to use in tough conditions. They can be slid [backwards] into a 6' truck bed or trailered. If you can't pick them up at the store you'll need to make arrangements to have it delivered.
